I took over The Woodland Cafe with a plan to create a relaxed, family friendly cafe/bar utilising the best of local produce with a Mediterranean feel. After having lived and travelled extensively throughout Spain, Europe & Asia for over a decade I finally found my place in the world here in beautiful Devon.
Having worked primarily as a Head Chef & Manager for restaurants & hotels from Singapore to Marbella, throughout the UK & now on the edge of Dartmoor I wanted to hold simple, rustic flavours & a warm welcome at the heart of everything we do.

Music being as much a passion as food we showcase the best of local songwriting talent here on our unique Tipi stage. Live music, chilled atmosphere & rustic, wholesome, good quality food with local brews is so important to us all here at The Cafe. We're a group of like-minded people who love spending time at this magical hideaway in the woods, love the music, love the vibe & would love to welcome you back anytime.
